This is a new high-quality 4L80E molded rubber piston kit, which contains all the molded rubber pistons required to replace the OEM pistons in GM's 4L80E transmission.
It is suggest you replace the molded rubber pistons on every 4L80E rebuild due to the stress put on the pistons during normal transmission use, so if your 4L80E is used in a high torque application (which most are) you'll want to replace these pistons. If you inspect the pistons and only have one or two that need replaced, then you might want to consider purchasing just the pistons you need.
